The main reason pages go quiet is that shooting happens week by week, whenever there's time. Our fix is one well-planned shoot day that produces the whole month's content.
A week before: the plan
- Pick 3–4 recurring content types, for example a common customer question, behind the scenes, the offer of the month and a customer story.
- Give every reel a one-line idea and a single goal: awareness, trust or a sale.
- Write the scripts and keep them short. A good reel usually says one thing.
The first three seconds
People decide whether to keep watching in the first seconds. Write several openings for each reel: a question, a number or an unexpected line. Shoot them all on the day, then test them in ads to see which one holds attention.
Shoot day: group by set and outfit
- Shoot every reel for the same set back to back instead of moving the lights each time.
- Bring 3–4 outfit changes so the month doesn't look like it was filmed in one day.
- Keep the script in view on a screen or paper, with sentences short enough to say in one breath.
- Capture supporting footage: hands at work, the space, the product. It makes the edit fast and lively.
After the shoot
Edit in batches and add on-screen text, since many people watch on mute. Set a fixed posting schedule and stick to it for a full month before judging the results.
This is exactly the shoot-day system in our reels plans.
