A podcast is one of the strongest ways to build trust, because people see and hear you talk about your field in depth. Yet many podcasts stop after three episodes. These are the steps that make the difference.
Start with a question: who will watch, and why?
A podcast isn't about your brand; it's about your audience's problem. A dentist could cover the questions patients ask before getting implants, a property developer the mistakes people make with their first flat. A clear topic attracts a clear audience.
Choose a format you can sustain
- An episode every two weeks beats a weekly show that stops after a month.
- 20 to 40 minutes suits most topics.
- A guest in each episode makes the conversation easier and reaches their audience too.
- Record 3–4 episodes before publishing the first, so you have a buffer.
One episode, a week of content
The real value of a podcast is what you make from it. Cut three or more reels from the strongest moments of each episode, and turn them into posts and quote cards. One hour of recording then feeds your page for a full week.
Sound before picture
Viewers forgive an average picture but leave over bad sound. A microphone per person and a room without echo matter more than the most expensive camera.
